Meet George Washington
Antique lovers will get a presidential welcome at the show. George Washington, as brought to life by renowned re-enactor Carl Closs, will be on hand for three full days to mark the show’s 60th anniversary. Filled with fun facts about the Father of His Country, Carl will help visitors discover the “real” George Washington. He’ll also mark the show’s official opening by a ribbon cutting at the preview.
Art and Antiques Appraisers Offer Free Advice
Your 401(k) may no longer be worth much, but what about those antique candlesticks you inherited? Members of the International Society of Appraisers will be on hand to provide you a clear understanding of the process of professional antiques and fine art appraisal. They'll also answer questions and offer advice about selling, insuring, or donating your antiques and works of art. Verbal or written appraisals of individual items or collections will not be provided. Visits to the ISA exhibit require general admission tickets to the show.
